In collaboration with the Film + TV Charity, join us for afternoon of 10 exceptional thought provoking films that highlight powerful stories that link around themes of mental health.
The South London Film Festival presents a special screening of I Live Here Now, the bold and haunting feature directorial debut from Julie Pacino.
Shot on 35mm and blending psychological horror with a vivid, dreamlike visual style, I Live Here Now follows struggling actress Rose (Lucy Fry), whose life is thrown into turmoil by unexpected news. Seeking escape, she finds herself at a remote hotel where time, memory and reality begin to fracture, and the violent echoes of her past take terrifying form.
Surreal, unsettling and deeply personal, Pacino’s debut explores trauma, identity, body autonomy and the fragile boundary between memory and nightmare. The film also stars Madeline Brewer, Matt Rife, Sheryl Lee and Cara Seymour.
Screening followed by a special Q&A with writer-director Julie Pacino, subject to final confirmation.
