FAQ

Nope. The South London Film Festival is open to all filmmakers from inside and outside the UK.

To submit you will need to create a free account on FilmFreeway and upload your film as a new project. Fill out the details, then you can submit by clicking here.

Yes. As a South London resident you are entitled to a discounted submission fee. To receive your discount code, you need to email us using the Subject ‘SLD NAMEOFYOURFILM’ at info@southlondonfilmfest.co.uk with your name and proof of address to receive your code.

Yes. Schools, Colleges and Universities are welcome to submit on behalf of their students. Students under the age of 18 must submit via their school/educational institution. Students must be over the age of 16 to submit.

Yes. Filmmakers (excluding Student Film Category) may submit more than one film to the festival. Only one entry per film.

The final deadline to submit your film is November 8th. However, the earlier you submit, the lower the submission fee. Check out our FilmFreeway listing for more info.

Student’s can upload a photo of their student ID to the ‘files and attachments’ section on their FilmFreeway project page. If you are a school/educational facility, please email us from your educational organisation with the name of the student and film.

We only offer a discounted submission fee to students, South London based filmmakers and FilmFreeway Gold members.
